Hagen

A reinterpretation of the Nibelungen saga centering on Hagen von Tronje.

Various graphic elements, like the shields and coat of arms that I designed,  became recurring elements incorporated into the building designs and other Prop and Set-Dec details throughout the film.

It was a challenge to design these backdrops as they reflected the layout of our imaginary city and the architecture of the buildings we were designing the interiors for. I had to work closely with the Set Designers to make an imaginary map of where the city might be located in order to determine what kind of landscape or buildings might be visible from which window of our imaginary castle.
